Cookies and Tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking technologies. It makes no requests to third-party servers: our fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font CDN, so your IP address is never shared with a third party in order to render this site.

Because we set no cookies and do not track you, there is no consent banner and nothing for you to opt out of.

Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties unless:

• It is necessary for delivering services (e.g., our hosting provider, or Formspree, which delivers our contact form to us — see below)
• We are legally required to do so
• You have given explicit permission

Our Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, the details you enter (your name, email, phone number, company and role, and your message) are processed on our behalf by Formspree, which forwards them to us by email. Formspree acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

Formspree processes this data on servers in the United States. This transfer is safeguarded under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We use Formspree only to receive your enquiry — it is not used for marketing or tracking, and the form makes no request until you choose to submit it.

If You Apply for a Job

When you apply to us — for an open role, or with an open application — you send us your details by email. We process whatever you choose to include: your name and contact details, your introduction and your answer to our question, and any links or attachments you send. If you send us a link to a profile such as LinkedIn or GitHub, we look at what is publicly visible there.

We use this only to assess your application and to talk to you about it. The legal basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; where you apply without a vacancy being open, we rely on our legitimate interest in considering candidates who approach us.

Only Dennis and Chris read applications. We do not use an applicant tracking system, we do not share your application with anyone outside Datavore, and no decision about your application is made by automated means.

We delete your application within four weeks of the process ending, in line with the Dutch NVP Sollicitatiecode. If we would like to keep your details on file longer — because there may be something for you later — we will ask you first, and keep them for at most one year from that consent. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — write to info@datavore.nl and we will act on it. We assess every candidate against the same criteria, and no part of our selection is automated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
